Time critical deliveries for a national cancer charity
Providing a dedicated logistics service for a nationwide campaign across 150 seperate events.

challenge
With up to 20 separate events taking place across the country each weekend, APS needed a reliable logistics partner on hand 24/7 to fulfil their objective of achieving a first-class service. Each event would need its own dedicated delivery of consumable products including food/beverage items, branded merchandise and other associated fundraising equipment. Due to the very nature of the events; deliveries were time critical, and failure would ultimately mean they can’t go ahead. Clearly, failure was not an option!

solution
We worked closely with APS to manage the logistics operation, ensuring we had ready availability of vehicle capacity and drivers to cover all events. Including sufficient contingency in case of breakdown or last-minute driver illness. Goods for each event were then distributed from our facility in Nottinghamshire across England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and even the Channel Islands. Our team are on hand 24/7 to deal with any potential issues, ensuring smooth sailing for these prestigious events.

Now with multiple successful seasons working on this project under our belt, we were able to deliver another outstanding result for our clients. All events successfully completed, and all products delivered without a hitch.
