Ocean Designs are an exclusively on line retailer of high end garden furniture and accessories. To meet ever higher expectations from customers, Ocean Designs needed a home delivery solution to successfully distribute their products.

The retailers “big box” products required a service that most parcel couriers couldn’t provide. The ones that could, simply weren’t able to provide a consistent solution without considerable losses and damage. The retailers workload was exaggerated by the increasing amount of incoming calls from customers, querying the whereabouts of their delivery. Not to mention the added costs of missing and damaged stock. Clearly a better solution was needed.

Route4 have partnered with Ocean Designs to implement a reliable home delivery solution. A fixed tariff was introduced so the retailer would always know their costs. We liaise with customers directly to confirm delivery date and customers receive pre notification of delivery ETA on the day. All goods are distributed directly from our central hub, eliminating multiple vehicle movements and closing the door on product damage.
